I always get an error when I try to install soemthing and was wondering if there was another way to install UT 2k4 without using the wizard or whatever it's called. Thanks!
Well, it's not really the wizard now, that just stopped. But now, when it's copying files, it says that it couldnt copy a file, but that it was completed successfuly??!! Could I just maybe copy the files directly from the CD and paste em' in the correct folder? PLease help!

Well, what household item can be used as CD cleaner? Windex? Calagel? (Calagel is a bug bite gel made completely of alchohol, burns like crap!) I mean, I have no alchohol wipes like I'm supposed to use... what household remedies are there?

just blow on it with your mouth to create steam and wipe it on your shirt
*sigh* nope, it only got halfway through disk two and gave me the error-
Failed to read source file --whatever it was--. (was completed successfully) If blah blah blah...
What do I do? Is there no other way to install this?

I'm guesing the CD is scratched You can buy little devices nowadays that claim to restore scratched disks.. never tried one so can't comment but I've been meaning to get one for ages now
