Well, what household item can be used as CD cleaner? Windex? Calagel? (Calagel is a bug bite gel made completely of alchohol, burns like crap!) I mean, I have no alchohol wipes like I'm supposed to use... what household remedies are there?

*sigh* nope, it only got halfway through disk two and gave me the error-
Failed to read source file --whatever it was--. (was completed successfully) If blah blah blah...
What do I do? Is there no other way to install this?

I'm guesing the CD is scratched You can buy little devices nowadays that claim to restore scratched disks.. never tried one so can't comment but I've been meaning to get one for ages now
