Post 0 / 2 We had a post made on our own forums here that made the accusation that a map was being passed off as written by a -=[dMw]=- member. This accusation was made by: Scott {DEAD}scott scott@deadclan.com www.deadclan.com and allegedly reported to the Admins of this website as the map file concerned is available for download here. As you can see from the link the author of the post (possibly a member here) made a completely false statement. For the purposes of ensuring that dMw's good name is not slandered I am posting this to ensure that members of this forum know that the accusation is totally false and incorrect. We have indicated to Scott that he might wish to confirm his facts before making such an accusation again and maybe even try talking to the people concerned. We hope that he has learnt his lesson and that our name is unsullied. TL. I played the map on your server and enjoyed the map so much I thought I'd post it here for our members. At the time I was unsure of the author and in hindsight I would have been better putting Unknown/Anon until I found out. Please accept my sincere apologies for any trouble I may have caused by doing this. If it will make things better all round I will remove the map from our site here, if you wish us to keep it I would like to know the correct name of the author of the map. Post 0 / 2 You won't have played the map on 'our' servers at all. You are confusing us: -=[dMw]=- (the original Dead Men Walking clan) with another clan who have unhelpfully copied us and called themselves DMW. We (the original dMw) are a CS clan not an HL2DM clan, so you must have played it on their servers, not ours. Confused? I hope not any more TL. When I saw it posted here and credited to the DMW clan I was stunned. I googled DMW clan, only found 1 site and posted on their forums about my concerns and asked them to contact this site and informed them that I had already done so. I thank them for the time and attention they have given this matter. I would also like to thank Gandalf for his quick responce to my concerns. I see now that it was just an error and not an attempt from someone to take credit for my work. The levels correct name is DEADCLAN. I, the Author, go by the name {DEAD}scott.
