Brothers In Arms and/or Project Snowblind?
and what do you guys think about buying games on ebay? prices seem cheaper then at the store ...

i have played brothers in arms and i think its a great game. could of been better, but hopefully it will be sorted for number 2. i loved ho it made you fell in the battle.
i havent played project snowblind but i hear its good.
i get my games mostley off play.com |

it may seem cheaper than the price in the store but after you add shipping and all that crap it costs more take it from me just buy from store |

Also, from Ebay, the person selling it may still have it installed and might still be using the serial number, so when you try to connect to multiplayer (if the game has it) you might not be able to. In the event that its HL2 or something, you might get accused of piracy and they could lock down your account.
Ebay's great for alot of things, but not games. CD's could be scratched, etc. You just never know. Buy games from the store or from other online companies where you know your getting something thats brand new. |

Don't buy anything from Ebay... ever!!!
I haven't played Brothers In Arms yet, but i have played Project Snowblind, and it is a brilliant game... quite hard in some places but good. |

ebay thing: not right about it being more expensive; atleast 50% less then at a store - $50 for Half-Life 2, on ebay its around $25 with shipping - just using it as an example; I'm also talking about buying it not just auction, but like Ebay Stores, many shops have their own store on ebay and sell games through that, all brand new, packaged up, atleast 1000 feedback
and thanks for feedback on the games; the Project Snowblind looked great, but does it also have a multiplayer? because last DeusEx: Invisible War didn't have one

Didnt like Brothers in Arms. It was a good game, but WWII is stale. Not sure if it has MP, I rented and just played SP and returned it after a couple of days.
E-bay...it just sucks. My friend bought a box set of DVD's and got the box, but no set of DVDs.  |

definitely dont agree with your there, i buy and sell stuff on Ebay all the time, have got some monster bargains and sold some stuff for a reasonable price. As long as you are careful and research first, there is nothing wrong with Ebay and now you have the protection of the law, in Aus at least, you are even safer.

The only reason i don't like it is because that what people have told me and what i've heard.
But i have never actaully used it and i doubt that i will. |

i've heard that ebay has been used to sell "false" products. the one story i keep hearing is that someone sold an XBOX for a few pounds and it actually turned out to be a cardboard box with a X on it. they couldn't get done because it was what it said it was.
another story was that someone sold a £1 coin for £10 |

I bought project snowlind today, and I like it, reminds me of last DeusEx game EIDOS put out, very interesting
once I beat it, I'll get Brothers In Arms (or trade, if someone is interested) |

I finished brother in arms on xbox at the weekend. Its a good squad based game, AI is alright, graphics are good but not groundbreaking. My only complaint about SP is the bots under your control seem to like getting shot and one mission that is way to difficult. The MP is kinda limited with only a head to head mode for up to four players but you do control up to two squads of infantry  . If you can ignore the fact that WWII is over used it is not a bad game. |

I guess no Brothers In Arms then
still need to get half-life 2 and Doom 3 expansion pack though
