I don't know about that specific error, but you should know that any (resonable) number of servers can be run from a single RF installation.

Open the dedicated_server.txt text file in your main RedFaction folder (on just one of the installations). You'll see a group ("paargraph") there. Each of the groups has $Name as its first line, and the one you're looking for is titiled $Name: "ctf".

Select the whole group and make two additoinal copies of it, one after the other, in the text file. Give each the two new copies a distinct name, say ctf2 and ctf3.

In each group, configure the settings you want for a particular server (time, maps, caps, players, etc.).

Now launch the three servers:

"C:GamesRedFactionrf.exe" -dedicated ctf -port 7756

"C:GamesRedFactionrf.exe" -dedicated ctf2 -port 7757

"C:GamesRedFactionrf.exe" -dedicated ctf3 -port 7758

You now have three servers running, each with completely independant settings.

i got to have 3 different maps !

cuz there are 3 clans witch are going to use it and they all have ftp acces only !

so in order to use their own maps they must be able to change their own rf files !

one 1 rf installation i don,t have the problems
but with 3 the problems start !

ps :* 2048 mb should be enough !! i guess

Starting multiple servers will depend on the speed of your cpu, amount of RAM,and internet connection.

And RF Server Assist 4(updated) is what you need for a server.I don't know for sure. But I think it allows multiple windows for multiple servers...

I think you mean 8mb/s....Not 8,000 mb/s

That connection doesn't exist yet...

And yes that is enough. However that is downstream. What is your upstream??it is usually around 256kb/s-1mb/s

I don't know if you are aware of this, but multiple custom maps cen be present in a single RF installation. So if you can have multiple maps, and can run multiple servers, from a single RF installation, why not?

Each server runs whichever map(s) you tell it to...

Make more than one RF installation I guess....Or you could copy the files needed for multi and add them to another folder with an RF.exe and make sure the dedi server output points towards the folder
