Man I think I speak for many(not all) people when I say that I freakin' love the weapons that aren't in the demo. I would hate to play without them. If you're trying to get anybody to download anything, it should be to download 1.3 so that we don't have to put up with stupid modders, and people that accuse others of modding. Go BUY Red Faction! It's like 5$!!!!! Sheesh! 
Sorry to be so harsh, but really that's not much money. Even if you can't find it at a game store in town, there's people selling it on E-bay for basically the same price.

He has the full version. Why someone would ditch the full version to play a watered down demo is beyond me, but hey, to each his own. |

KrYpToN, this is a cusom map gamesite. The name of this place, Levels4You kinda puts that point across. In most games and definately in RF, the default maps are completely outdone by custom mappers. You only need to download maps by Espear, WRECKS, NoClanFrank, Wizard, Red Frog, Mechanico, MadCat, D2K, Kiliad, McBeth/Matthew Arsenault, Sir Lotsa Pot, Bartalon, Tico Torres, Mad Ferrit, Sorrow, SKA Diesel, ect, to be able to see that.
I listed a bunch of names there but not nearly enough. There's a bunch of other mappers and maps I could mention but I'd be going on forever.
For those RF players who only ever play the same 2 maps over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over, I don't think there is a big difference between the demo and full version. For the custom map players though, there is.
Maybe you should try playing custom RF maps. For the most part we are a hell of a lot nicer than the default CTF players. You'll never get somebody calling you a n00b because you haven't got the hang of a particular map and generally custom map players are of a more laid back attitude as to score.

alright i'll take my arguing somewhere else but as i recall on the forum index it says Discussion of red faction, not be bit**ed at by other people and saying how good he/she is |

I could say that all demo players suck, but it doesn't mean a whole lot since I have yet to experienced the best of them play.

Ok, Im not a good RF player, hell I might even be classed as pretty poor, I win the occasional game, and do my Fair share of Frags/Caps in CTF. I tell ye what I will Challenge ANY on the Demo to a game, and I can happily say Im quiet confident I would be able to beat them simply because if they cant afford $5 for the game they sure cant afford $6.99 for some Skill. |
