another question? there are 4 types of invisble texures in RED why are there 4 difirent ones, don't they all do the same? (not showing any texures)
Or is there a meaning to using difirent ones?

Each type of texture generates a different footstep sound when you walk on them.

Each are prefixed with either:-
sld_TextureName.tga SOLID
rck_TextureName.tga ROCK
mtl_TextureName.tga METAL
cem_TextureName.tga CEMENT
Each has a unique sound when you walk on it and indeed you can and should prefix your own custom floor textures with one depending on the material.
The prefix will also determine what happens when geo-mod occurs on that surface. Only in some instances, and they will be differnet between maps. Geo-mod will always be dependant on your level hardness and geo/non geo regions, but texturing with the right prefix will (in some of those instances) decide whether you get a scorch mark, a hole or broken glass.
Same goes for the sound of ammo hitting the wall. Different prefix, different sound.
If I ever get to where I am going, will I know when I am there?

Nope, I changed the emoticon
lol.
I was refering to an old thread.
Yes I know Molodiets And no I havn't changed my mind.
But wouldn't it be wonderful if the UNDO feature in Red also undid texture faces you accidentally textured cause on my machine I can't undo a single texture face once I've textured it and texturing takes a long time.
Red limits breached?, Yep, (20,000 fces and its still going !)

Hmm... re-texturing works fine for me. Make sure you re-build your geometry though, it won't show unless you do. Just hit CTRL-Z and SPACE, should re-build it with the old textures.

Im curiouse about your issue here. Try what pickles said, and post back letting us know if that dont work for you. If that doesnt work for you, then you have a BIGGER problem with RED than you think. GL

You can just return to Brush mode aswell - does the same thing - but a bit quicker. While im here; you can also copy and paste textures - the faces just have to have the same amount of vertices.

there is a quicker way. You just have to texture another untextured face and your latest texture will appear.
