For some reason RF doesnt do pitch black... it will show up pitch black in the editor, but in game theres always a certain amount of ambient lighting.
What do you mean by glow? Do you mean the static mesh light, or the acutal light source?

A thick black fog makes it pitch black thou.
if so lights won't appears unless they are clutters.
Check my map and tell us what you need.
was there really a need to start a second topic for the same issue?
RF will not allow you to do absolute darkness! the closest you can get is like weve said.... A THICK BLACK FOG WITH BLACK LIGHTING IN THE LEVEL PROPERTIES AS WELL here is a map where the lighting is as close as it gets. there is an event there to turn the lighting back on as well. open it in RED, and see what was done there.

Yes that is the correct order...
Check the range and intensity of your lights...
Did you use clutter objects or the actual Objects>>>Light (bulb)? Some clutter objects might need a Bulb nearby to add more to the light and actually make the area around it illuminated. Have a mess around... Larger Range and lower intensity tends to look best IMO, depending on the mood etc... trial and error!
