Hi, Does anybody know how to get a creature to walk to a point and search for enemies at the same time???? (or close to this)

Erm.. you need a lot of nav points. You cant have just ONE nav point, otherwise the AI wont know whats walkable and whats not.
You connect Nav Points with the "J" key.
Once you have enough Nav points for the AI to navigate through your level, you can then set up a "Go to" Event for one or more AIs to follow.
All you need to do is place the Go To event in the area you want the AI to move to, then attach the Event to the AI/s using "K".
Once you've done that attach a trigger to the Go to Event. For example you could attach an auto-trigger, then the AI will go to the "go to" event whenever the level loads. Or you could make a "door trigger" so that if the player goes to a certain area the AI will arrive.
I dont know if thats exactly what you wanted but I hope it helps.
One important thing Steve. Go to View-->Show Path Node Connections. The navpoints will turn green and you will be able to see the connections between them once selected.
One nav point can work. As long as it is big, the AI will run around in it.
Another thing: Check the AI properties. The 'Attack' method and 'AI mode' can determine the niceness of each AI.
There's a tutorial over at redtech.
If I ever get to where I am going, will I know when I am there?
