I know there was a tutorial around somewhere for curving hallways, or bending brushes in RED, but i'm buggered if I can find it. Please, I have been shown once, but have not used it, can anyone, either explain in here or point me in the right direction for the tutorial.

quite simple really. First create your brush however long at tall and stuff.then next to the sizes where it has the split category in crease the number from 0 to whatever number u want.Note that if yur brush is medium height and long then u will want to split dow the length property as oppose to just splitting without any knowledge.Next create the brush and then click on bend. mess aroudn with the center points and stuff until u have what you like.

Create a brush H = 3, W = 3, D = 15, but add 5 splits to the depth.

Now you are looking down onto your split hallway in the Top View and it runs in a North ->South direction.

Select it in brush mode and press the Bend button.

Set it to Bend Around: Axis Y & Along: Axis Z, 90 degrees or whatever.

Use smoothing groups in texture mode on the walls of your hallways for a nice curved effect if that's what you wanna achieve

Curved Hallways:
1. Split the brush about 10 times.
2. Goto vertex mode.
3. Move the vertexes to curve it.

This is what I do:
1. Split the brush
2. Click on the bend button
3. Select the axes I want the brush to bend around (90 degree bend makes sort of an L curve and 180 degrees is a U curve.)

If you want it to go up or downhill then go into vertex mode and change it there.

OR

ROUND HALLWAYS:
1. Make the hallway you prefer.
2. Before you create the brush split the brush so in the TOP view you see your"cookie cutter" Dividing it into smaller parts.
3. Choose the desired amount of splits (recommended for anything 8).
4. Create brush then texture it first (if you dont texture it first it will cause you seroius texture problems).
5. Choose the brush and select "BEND".
6. From the menu on the left then in the little popup change "BEND AROUND AXIS Y" then "BEND ALONG AXIS A or Z" depending on how you made the brush then build geometry (Space bar) & Shazaam! There you go!

Or what the other people & Mad... said.P

Yeah or simply use bend in brush-mode again with a minus value off degrees (eg. -90 degrees) Around Axis X and Along Axis Z

Edit: So basically, if ya wanted to create the hallways from the Lobby, that curev upwards and sideways then you'd combine my first post in this thread with this one

Thanx for all the help guys, but I have one more question, is it possible to actually pick a bending point along the brush or are the 3 selections the only control, i.e. Min, Max $ centre

No (afak), unless you didn't split the brush but just clipped it.
One clip ->one split ->one axis.
I'm not sure that answer to your question thou.

Yeah molo I think it does. but can you clarify 'didnt split, just clipped it'
i have a long corridor that i have bent thru 110 degrees and i wish to bend it back the other way at some point along one arm. is this possible and if so how.

If asked to bend a brush, red will use all the divisions (splits) it can use. If your brush has been built with 3 splits, RED will bend it, using them all.

if your brush is bent around axis X and along axis Y, you can, for example, bend it again around axis Y and along axis Z.
But you can't say: i want my brush to bend around that axis (split) and not around that other one, once you have already split your brush. The solution could have been to use, at first, the clip tool to create the axis you want your brush to curve around then bend and then create other axis (with the clip tool) to bend it around and along other dimensions.
