Multiplayer
Competitive multiplayer is out in Armageddon. We're still waiting to find out about how we're going to interact with our friends. However, we do know that we can compete with one another in Ruin Mode, where we see who can get the highest score on the always coveted Leaderboard.
I honestly don't think Volition could have done anything stupider. Game's dead on arrival, theres not even a shred of doubt.
Oh Volition... when will you ever learn?

I don't think you understand, this excludes DM, TDM, CTF, Bagman (), everything. The only confirmed MP we have is Ruin (which is online Wrecking Crew with a new name so they can post news like "All new gamemode: Ruin!!!") and some sort of co-op (which is probably just Ruin).

I didn't play it, but you are maybe to severe on this, it depend on the bargain, $9.99... 8,7,6? But I can easily understand the deception that it even and ...again ...don't have multiplayer! In the old days, when Volition was a smaller studio, I can comprehend, but now?? I would like to know which department taken the decision!
Does the 'Magnet Gun' is abusively used during the hole campaign?

- The game's just bad. It's not fun, it's repetitive and it's very restrictive. It's RF:G except it lacks everything that made RF:G fun.
- The game is buggy as hell. Just to give you an idea of how buggy it really is: there were 5 full pages of just PC bug reports on the official forums in the first 24 hours after launch alone.
- There's virtually no support. If you post on the official troubleshooting forum with a problem, you may get a response in a week, and that's if you're really lucky. Not to mention the fact that whatever response you do get (if you do get one) will more than likely not help your problem.
- No mod support to speak of.
- No multiplayer. (except that random 4 player co-op invasion gamemode that is always the same thing and gets boring in 10 minutes - play Alien Swarm instead, it's better... and it's free)
- The RF series has been canned by THQ and the developers dropped whatever support they were providing when this was announced. The official forums will undoubtedly be taken down within a few months. (and that's being generous given Volition/THQ's track record)
- There's no community. Period.
The only aspect of the game that I liked at all was the menus and HUD - they were a major improvement. Not that it matters much though given the above list.
