It was for UT. It's too low poly I think

You'll probably want this one:

That's the one, beebeegun. Now if I can find someone to port and skin the model. I can't contact Mars Marshall. I guess I'll try some of the other JK2 modelers....

To Barionyx: Yes, the Boba colors are better.

Thanks, Barionyx. I've posted the developer (QX9) about the Jango model. In the past, he's collaborated with Mars Marshall (Grievous) too. Perhaps he will help us, or recommend someone who can. The dice are rolling!

Edit Mar 8:

OK, QX9 says OK to post his model here at L4Y. I'll keep working on the Mandalorian VP build, and then post them together like Grievous and Obiwan.

The VP must be fun to do for someone who doesn't say a lot of stuff.

Yes. Finding good sound samples can be a challenge. He has only 18 dialogue lines in Attack of the Clones. (lol)

Temuera Morrison (my favorite jaffa, who plays Jango Fett) has done voice work for the Star Wars video games (Battlefront, LEGO SW, etc.) as Jango, or as Delta38.

Good news and bad news, UT2K4ers, the good news is I've collected as many Jango
samples as I'm going to get from every source known to man - short of buying Battlefront 2 and ripping some more.....

The bad news is the samples are all over the place in quality. A problem with game rips is the great Star Wwars score in the background that drowns out the dialogue....but I'll do my best

Anyway, I hope to upload the final VP including QX9's Jango model by March 12 (my birthday!!!)

Mission accomplished.

Thanks to all in the forum for your advice and encouragement, especially Barionyx and beebeegun. Special thanks go out to QX9 for his great model.

Feedback is, as always, welcome.

I been spending alot of time on the computer lately. Think I'll take a couple of weeks off - get some spring cleaning done here.

What's next? I'd like to see Count Dooku and Anakin myself. Maybe Asasj Ventress......I sort of asked QX9 about porting other models, but he didn't respond to the invitation (maybe that was a response??..I dunno), anyway let's keep bouncing ideas off one another like we have been.

Han and Chewie!!!

I really have to relearn UT2004 model stuff. I feel kind of motivated for it too.

Yeah. If someone models 'em, I'll voice 'em.

Note: Chewbacca is coming to the Clone Wars in the season finale episode.

How about you try to contact fishjerky?

Yes. He did a wonderful job with the Half-Life 2 models. I wonder if
he'd be interested...I'll PM him about it.

I've got some good high quality Chewie samples so no sweat there.
I'd really like to get the super BD model ported though also...
that would be awesome!

I don't want to sound pessimistic but I doubt that he will answer that PM since it seems like he abandoned this site...

Perhaps he can be located. If not him, who??

There's a tool that can open Jedi Academy model files and it can save Unreal models.

That file noesisv2982.zip isn't recognized by winzip or winrar.

Okay, but do you have jedi academy? Or know one who has it? If so, then good thing. If not, then...

I have Jedi Academy - good thing. Knowing absolutely nothing about modeling or skinning - bad thing!
