Hi everyone,
Again, long time no see, but I hope it will change soon 
I post this little news to invite L4Y members to participate in a pre-release online event of Xmod beta 2.0 You will be able to use the new version of the biggest challenge of Xmod, the Combat Suit System, that now simulate a jetpack in all RF maps -1, if you take the time, many other fine tuning await you.
The main goal will be to play the mod to make a promotion video for the 2.0 release. I will Fraps video most of the time and hope people will have a great playtime. If possible, I will need at least 1 hours of your time, if some want to extend that, I will be glad to continue the event with the tougher one 
Date & Time - December, 2010
The date & time is flexible for now, from Saturday 18 to Sunday 19 and will be adjusted with players preference in (UTC/GMT) time. I will confirm hours, download link & password a day before the main event to people that reply me only.
I suggest this simple link to be sure everyone have the right (UTC/GMT) time.
I will try my best to regroup a nice pool of players after the 2.0 release. If you have interest in Xmod to be parts of

Hopefully I don't lose my connection either. I only played on it for about an hour or so. I did however get to stick a remote mine on Morgoth's face while he was off the keyboard. |

Some of you that show me interest to participate in Xmod Online Events, know that I was sick and it slow be to release the mod for November to December.
BUT!!!, my problem is now at a really critical level & I have no choice to delay mod events again.
To be bref, I receive an important amount ionizing radiation in fragile location of my body by a medical hospital, that irradiated same pain during 4 more days & did tissue damages & others typic symptoms related to high radiation exposure. To avoid medical error pursuits & also because they have low knowledge in radiation & apply recommendation by gouvernement without evaluate problems, the result is nobody want to not only cure me but also refuse to detect radiation on me... the radiation stayed in my body continue to do is work, him lost in a inconceivable bad system badly trying to find anyway to cure myself. 3 weeks have now passed, it have a possibility, that I reached the phase 2 of high exposition radiation symptoms. I really need medicament!...
I hope & will try to regroup again the Xmod Community in January, if my condition enable me to do... I didn't Email & PM anyone due to my condition & my time spend 100% on research to find a way to be hear & heal correctly with doctors.

Morgoth sound like you have cancer. Man I hope that isn't the case. I really hope you get better soon. You seem to be a pretty cool/nice guy and I only hope that whatever you maybe going through helps out whatever illness you may have. We need more people like you in this world.  |

I just wanted to respond ...late... here to say thanks. Now that some of you see me around, know that I feel better. Mostly all Xmod topic/news have been removed, I will contact my Xmod Members ...by email & PM, create a little post here for the 2nd wave playtest before release the package. If you have interest, contact me.

Nearly 1 month ago I write elsewhere on L4Y that I aimed 1 month to do a pre-release event to record a promo video & launch Xmod 2.0 with Online Events. Unfortunately, my real life tricky situation taken me a lot of time and finally put only little time on Xmod Lounge multiplayer lobby to RF weapons history presentation box...
Here's others screens if you did not had the time to see them before the huge Xmod topics loss after the L4Y reset.
Red Faction - Xmod Lounge multiplayer level with in-Game relax posture for player models
New L4Y & ModDB gratitude Mugs
All original, PS2 bonnus & few extra community maps Xmod & Combat Suit - Jetpack version are done, same things for mostly any other mod enhancement, primary what it left is the Xmod Lounge multiplayer lobby, the Jukebox trigger system along with finish 2d/3d model, many things will not be finish in this level, but I want at least to be functional for players, to sometime chat relax with the community with the nice RF soundtrack in background without shoot other in the face
I also have a major issue with Pure Faction that I really would like to be Fixed in the new update.
Pure Faction/mod weapon flag bug restriction - That prevent 'Riot Stick' to do damages to players! Without this PF fix, I will have to remove the new ability that collide with world geometry including broken glass gameplay and lose extra hit timing possibility, aggressivity & responsiveness of theses enhanced close combat actions. You can read more details info about the bug in New Pure Faction is coming! topic & fews more info about Xmod If I can have any news about this, I will appreciate.
Note about L4Y PM - I keep getting blank PM's topic...
Again, if you have interest in Xmod I strongly suggest to anyone to contact me with RedFaction-Xmod@hotmail.com, is the best way to be involved in any incoming Xmod Online Events, particularly with all the new uncertain L4Y behaviors.
A part of my life was finally spent in this homage mod, trying enhance every single aspect to make RF a better multiplayer experience. I don't know how much more of my time will be spent with health test & legal procedure, but I will try my best to finish the jOb on 2.0 & have nice in-game play or chat with some of you  Same thing, I aim & hope it will take 1 month max, sorry for delay...

Edit: Thanks... I removed the L4Y CDC link in forum signature, now that we know they are sadly officially gone.
About - I keep getting blank PM's topic...
