I was offline for a year dealing with real life B S. I gradually got back online as things cooled down and as I did, some folks convinced me to play and host a RF server once again. As per other posts in various threads over the year, I wouldn't mind becoming staff here at L4Y once again - but I do ask for some degree of patience as there are a few more things I would like to get hammered out in real life before submerging myself in the pile of files here. 
Red Faction is an old game and it holds a fascination for a variety of people. It also illicits strong feelings and we should all understand that. What we do with those feelings is what makes the difference between constructive or destructive action upon ourselves and others. Step back from the animosity for a bit, let things cool down and take on a new perspective.  There is room for everyone to contribute.
I get home from work around midnight central US time and typically I will jump into the Lucky RF server and the Lucky Team Speak. If anyone wants to discuss anything - I am open to it. Through the act of sharing, perhaps we can all find that elusive common ground. Regards, Hapster  |

I would like for you to become admin again, but there is an issue. Of course I am an admin of the RF sections, along with Beatonator (which we don't see a whole lot of) and Frank. There really isn't enough to keep just myself going + Frank, then + Hapa as well. Frank + KILLER + Hapa = 1000 firefighters at a single fire. Bumping into each other lol |

Thanks folks. Honestly, I don't mind not being staff at L4Y. I survived without and I can continue to survive without. Don't worry about a lack of work in the RF section. As soon as I get my files unscattered, I can keep you busy.  |

You can never have too many staff ... especially in the red faction section ... there seems to be this ominous aura that's 20 times stronger than any other section
But if i were you id just kick back and chill as a not staffer ... its easier ... and the less responsibility you have the better you will feel |

Im about, just watching from afar and trying to keep people out of mischief!
If some more lively threads popped up it would be nice. I check here every few hours during the week, but not much over the weekend as im far too busy! |

Oops. Been kinda busy to properly respond in a timely manner.
But yeah, one thing I have noticed is that folks really like the old old maps. Classics as it were. However, in my opinion, its a sickly festering stale state with minds locked in a gaming stupor. Why trudge through maps that have been replayed tens of thousands of times in perpetual ad nauseam? :: barf ::
So I sat down recently and hammered out four new maps spending about three hours on each. I really didn't want to spend a year of tweaking like I did with DM-SUMMONER.

Otherwise, sometimes the LuckyFrag.com RF server is up and sometimes it is down. Sometimes I am uploading / downloading other stuff or hosting for other games like Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
