Yeah I was told about a mod today that would be fun for them to have on the server that will be more appropriate for there ages. I just get tired of telling people to calm down and to take it easy on the kiddos and they dont listen Im sure there are others with kids who may or may not have this same issue. I just dont get why some (not all) people have to use the kids to rack up there scores.

I have three kids of my own and we have all played RF. In fact I don't let my kids play RF online ever since my son was in a "Family Orientated" server and they server's buddy started swearing at him in the in-game chat. I know where you are coming from.
As soon as my internet is fixed, my son would be excited to play RF online once again in a secure environment. Thanks for your offer keg67.

I will agree that there should possibly be places that children, who shouldn't be playing the games anyway, should be able to play. But everyone who claims this and that will always lose there temper at some point in time, as you have clearly demonstrated.
A good example of these types of servers without swearing can be seen in various games labeled as "Christian Servers".

I don't think it matters too much the age for violent games in the fashion of FPS, but I as well think there should be in the least a semi-safe server, without swearing, etc. for children underage for the game's rating. Perhaps talking with Trotskie or someone, this can be implemented as a server-side application whereupon if a word out of a txt file is spoken, the person is banned for x minutes or whatever.

I think you will find that the famous Rf server run out of Brisbane that goes by the name of RATSFACTION is very well policed with a rigid set of rules and mature level headed rcon holders fits the bill as the most family oriented Rf server on the net. Our rules are simple and uncompromising. No Modding, No Swearing or inappropriate player names. Don't abuse fellow players and enjoy the game.
This rules include double clicking and drumming. Rat runs a tight ship and his trusted rcon holders make sure it stays that way. |

I wouldnt call Rats crew 'hardcore', we are mostly 'older' members of the RF community that are more interested in having fun than winning, however winning is nice occasionally |
