From QuakeCon.org we find QuakeCon is only 4 days away. The first was held in 1996!
The world's most legendary multiplayer gaming event and ultimate fan-based game tournament, party and convention, taking place Aug. 14 - 17 in Dallas, TX. In addition to co-hosting with id Software the first-ever opportunity to play DOOM 3™ multiplayer deathmatch, Activision will also provide financial support for the annual LAN-fest in celebration of all things QUAKE™.
So we should be gettting some good news on games (Quake 4 & Doom 3), from the convention. L4Y will keep you posted. < Thx DG
