Hi all, I'm having a problem with using the assault_digits.vbm correctly on a custom weapon. I've got a dummy named ammo_digit_1 and one named ammo_digit_2 covering where the two numbers appear on my weapon.
However the numbers don't change with the ammo count in-game they just run through the vbm animation continuously
The only person I know who's made a custom weapon with a ammo counter is Ska-Diesel but he's not around as far as I know.
The two dummies add the planes for the digits already.
Do not use the vbm on your gun.
If you place a dummy at your gun (link it to the gunbone, so it moves with it), the dummy will "spawn" a plane mesh in-game. Rotation of the dummy is important. If you can't see it, you may have to rotate it 90° or 180°.
