Hi everyone 
What people think about one dedicated web page for L4Y Match Events, Chat Box & Calendar?
I would like to have "tool helper" to create better gaming events here at L4Y. A main web page dedicated for match events for all supported games, would be nice also to have the possibility for CDC to show there events & let community interact better with also a better visibility over the site. I count make a Online Match Events section in CDC for Xmod beta 2.0, but if we can have a better way to regroup players, I will be very happy.
If administrator of this site have interest in this kind of match making web page, I also suggest a Chatbox to increase interaction & quick events on the same page. Beyond Epic is a great example where even guest visit can participate. I think we can bring a lot of coOl events, all options are accessible, I hope to see this happen soon, just start with basics & add extra features with time? 
All feedback are welcome to transform interest into realization

If we success to involve staff to create a interactive web page to create match events, I think in long term, we can add every kind of match making including possibly even a clan list or tournament if admin really want to invest in. But the version I thought to start is a lot more simple, only one dedicated web page focus on match event globally for all L4Y (shown in every section), it will reduce the jOb for Garner, but also attract more member to the page to reach a better interactivity between people. About the calendar, every member need to have the hability to add match events, in advance to let people notified, but also confirm there presence or simply chat before & after the match, post screen etc... Is why the need & efficacy of a chat box enter, will also increase the community strength of L4Y.

I don't think Garner would bother (or care for what it matters) about that.
For Garner "automatic" is beautiful. But a staff member could be volunteer |

All theses ideas can be implemented various way than can really change the scope of theses features, but I think even with a minimalist fine tuned setup, L4Y will have a better experience as a nice website community and to create, join & play there wanted Mod. We have a great opportunity to regroup people to create nice events, plz involve!

I think you might want to consult Garner about it first. He may or may not even want to include something like that on the site anyways, but I think it's an okay idea. |

Well,... at least ModDB staff really like the concept and count implement this kind of setup in future. It can only enhance online mod events with more players instead to join alone and leave that result empty server.
I will see what options I will have in hands...
