Similar to new-player zones in other massively multiplayer online role-playing games, Boot Camp lets fresh players both earn experience points and familiarize themselves with gameplay...without becoming cannon fodder for Joint Ops veterans. Only lower level players can actually get in there to play and they can not get killed by their own team mates. Funny how Nova took so long to announce something that has been out for so long. It is really old news to many regular JO players. I bought the game ages ago, and it was pretty cool, you know for playing around in helicopters etc.. but when your in a game its impossible to tell who to shoot If someone could clarify this part of the game for me I may go back to it. Check out some various servers and see what you like.The game is actually very good if your into teamwork type games. All their servers have it so you can get killed by friendly fire. Their elite server has tracer and tags off to make it more challenging. No I don't want a challenge thank you very much I even tried to hitch a lift with a bad guy who nailed me The game does seem pretty cool, but I'll prolly wait fro broadband at home before I give it a proper try. Their elite server has tracer and tags off to make it more challenging. i played a game w/ one of their players yesterday, the noob, didn't clr zone even tho he knew there was no way of us winning (i was on other team) .........have funnish The ppl w/ tags are ur teammates, dont waste ur ammo on them unless FF is on, the ppl that r hard to see w/ no tags and have those indo accents, shoot them, they die much easier then the ppl who have tags. No one gets tags. Enemy nor teammates. So you have to really watch who you are shooting as friendly fire is on in their servers. They have 3 servers. The setting are not the same in all servers.
