In Star Wars: Republic Commando, you are allowed to lead a group of cloned soldiers into fight. Here is the demo.
Star Wars: Republic Commando is a firstperson shooter where you play as the leader of a group of cloned soldiers. The focus is on teamwork, and the game comes with a system which will easily let you give orders to your fellow soldiers. According to LucasArts, it is a "dark shooter", and the action takes place between Episode II and Episode III. THe game will also introduce some characters whic will be for Episode III, like General Grievus.
Star Wars: Republic Commando contains 14 missions that take place in both known and unknown surroundings. You can visit the jungle areas of Kashyyk (homplanet of the Wookies), and the planet Geonosis. Both the Xbox and the PC-version will be released with different sorts of multiplayer options for 16 players at same time, among them "deathmatch" and "capture the flag".
The playable demo has one mission, named "Slaves of Kashyyk". The demo is 421 MB, and you can get it from those places:

I am downloading it right now  Brought my tower to work and even on 1.1MB broadband this is gonna take nearly an hour  128kb / sec download... bah what a joke  |

Sadly enough, the new games will leave 56k'ers more and more behind. |

I have got a video of this, looks excellent I love the way they execute a Door Breach. 'Into Position Men'
The Multiplayer sounds like it would be Awesome, Battlefront was good, but the First Person aspect was lacking, I preferred the 3rd Person. Well I might treat myself to the Timesplitters 3 demo on the front of OPS2 mag later instead |

you could send me a copy just the packaging might be a bit much from england to new zealand
Im all so waiting on TS3 comin out in march it should be very good indeed, if only it had a proper mapmaker ....
