Welcome!
Post 2 / 7

Hey all! First off, glad to be back in the community. This site still had my account I made back in the day. Secondly, I DID get Pure Faction, so I'm not a complete noob.
My question becomes what if I want to run say....the mod Ironsun? Is there a way to allow pure faction to run it? This dual processor business is making life difficult for us. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

Doesn't work.

edit.
Mods need to be launched by the command " -mod"
Notice the space before the minus.

For example " -mod Eko1.0"
Would start the eko mod which is located in the mods/Eko1.0 folder.
There HAS to be a space in front of -mod

PF doesn't allow mod lines ...

but you could try the dual core fix if thats your problem ... (depends on what the issue is)

PF DOES support mods, both clientside as serverside.

Though if you use vista, bad luck. ISM doesnt work on vista

Just in case you need more help, here's extra information about how to start a dedicated sever mod with PF.*

In PFLauncher - Dedicated Server tab (version 2.0)

Change port number, 7756 to 7755, add right after it (in same box), you can add -mod modname.

The * version 2.1 aren't compatible with mod due to the addition of PF server color in game browser, the fix will be in the next update.

ISM worked fine for me on WinVista Business x64 when I still had RF installed. You should probably get facts before making a statement like that :/

Small problem. Most of the mods I've been using thus far have been in the mods folder. However, ISM is a complete install. Any way of getting it working with a command line through editing PF properties (I.E. Target)????
Sorry to plague you guys with questions (like the reference to RF?)

Cheers!
