I still have mine, but I dont have a wireless card. My Router has various settings one of which is "Wireless Bridge" Using this im assuming I can use it to connect to the Wireless Router (in the other room) and will be able to plug my PC directly into my Router to access the internet. Am I right? Can anyone give me advice on how to do this? My router is: Linksys WAG354G DHCP, It is currently acting as the DHCP server, will I need to disable this or alter it to fit in with the new Router? Port forwarding, what alterations do I need to make? Im assuming port forwarding on my router (the bridge) will not be sued and it will be the router (connected to the phoneline) will be the one I port forward on? My Xbox 360 and PC are currently wired to the router. Any help guys? Trying to find old players. Anyone about? If the router they will be sending has wireless and works ok then use it and connect your pcs / laptops to it on the wireless. If your linksys is working fine + it has wireless then put the one they are sending away and setup your old router with your new details. If you decide to keep both routers online yes disable DHCP on the one which is NOT handling the internet. Beatonator    Posted 21st Oct 2008 1:48pm Post 2829 / 3716 Cheers Genxer. Yeah my PC isnt Wireless and neither is my Xbox 360. I dont want to fork out for a wireless adapter for either of them (360 Wireless adapter is like £40-60!) CENSORED !? Cheers for help, will give this ago when my the extra router turns up. I would love to use my Router as its all setup perfectly, but the phone socket is in the room next door and we cant have ethernet cables running around the house (I would prefer that ) Trying to find old players.
