Hey, was just wondering if there is anyway to run Max Payne in widescreen, my resolution appears on the list but the aspect ratio is wrong and it looks all stretched. (I'm playing at 1680 x 1050).

Also if anyone has a Benq G2000W is there any way of changing the aspect ratio on it to add black bars so I can play in a non-widescreen aspect ratio with a letter box? When I go into options for my monitor the aspect ratio is blanked out.

Maybe there is a third party software hack that can add this?

Thanks in advance guys

Can't you select 1280x1024 resolution?

Tried, still looks stretched.

Any software hack to force black bars?

I can't find the option in my Nvidia control panel or in the monitor menu.

Go to Nvidia control panel then to display(3rd option) then 2nd option (something about fixed aspect rate) apply. And play mp2 with 1280*1024 with letterbox

yeah I tried that and my Nvidia control panel doesn't have that setting on it for some reason. Any hacks around to change this?

Yeah, it'll stretch your game no matter what you put in. Soo, I play in a window. Just put in

-window

after your target on a shortcut.
