Hello participants of the levels4you.com community.

Edit:
Ok it seems like it was slower because of the SATA plug that was not correctly connected with the mainboard.
The scores were better in the past when the HD was new because I've used different SATA cables. They were too big for the new graphics card cooler I bought some time ago, though.
The new cables are 90° corner ones and barely fit, but they do

The C: is back to 90.000 points

Sometimes it's weird how computers work.
The cable was only half way connected to the socket, however, it still worked, just slower. (the other SATA drive went slower as well when I connected it) I did not notice any loss of data. (well I have some explorer.exe crashing going on when I browse properties of shortcuts though )

I'm having some issues with my new (1 or 2 months old) HD.
I kinda had the feeling that a few things were loading for too long, but not really noticeable slowly.
Like UT3 and its maps, I thought it was normal.

Then today I installed TeamFortress2 on the new HD (from a backup setup or something - not download), it took AGES.
So I decided to make a benchmark...

now you see the results of the C: drive (which is the new one) are horrible.

I don't know why that is. Can it be a virus? Damaged hardware? Fragmented space the benchmark is trying to write on? Disabled or corrupted memory cache?

To make sure its not the anti virus program (which I disabled for once) or anything I also tested the other drives.. which have much better results.

The benchmak image may look a little confusing. The very right one, the C: drive actually now is drive D: (the old XP install), and F: (new HD) now is C:. It was F: because I benchmarked it right after I formated it on the old XP install.
The old drive E: is not shown but it was slower than the old C: (around 30.000 score). It's keeping up with the other old drive since I deleted a lot of files on it weird. Maybe I just have to delete files to make the new C: faster again.. lol

So yea whatever.... C: was 10times faster back in the day when I got it.
