Im helping a friend who has just got Virgin Media (cable). They have been given the default modem, but want a Wireless router. I cant seem to find any "cable" routers. They all say cable but are RJ45 WAN ports which The Virgin media service doesnt use. I mainly only have experience with RJ45 ADSL not cable. Any Routers you guys recommend? Need a reasonably cheap one. £20-£35.

I found a Netgear but not sure if they are reliable. I use Linksys myself.

Any help appreciated.
Trying to find old players. Anyone about? Drop me a PM or reply to this thread:

The router needs to be connected to the modem with a network cable.

I use a D-Link dir-615 router.

Interesting, so no Router/Gateway combo? Thats what I was expecting. Use the bog standard Modem that comes with it an whack a Router in the back? Can it be any type of Modem or a specifc one? Im assuming it will connect to the LAN Ethernet ports.
