I thought that someone out there would like to know that i made progress working on my biplane vehicle ...
i was able to port it into the game and fly it ... but im not going to show you because its kinda butt ugly ... no texture maps on it yet ... also the model is incomplete ... the prop doesn't even move yet ... nor the rudder/elevator ... also its hovering way to high ... and there are no guns
But it a vehicle and it does fly and thats what matters most!

yea, the plane actually flies like a plane ... not like a space fighter ...
so you can stall it ect ...
it takes some practice getting used to flying it ... but once you do ... its fun as hell

Well ... that wouldn't work ... because this vehicle flies like a plane it needs a runway (or a semi flat stretch of ground to get in the air ... and not all the placed spawnpoints would be roomy enough to work ...
also the dogfight part would be tricky ... the plane is fairly manuverable and there are no recticles to aim with so far ... i thought that maybe i would make a 1st person view from the CENSORED pit so that once you get to the point where you are following your target, you can switch to 1st person to aim better and shoot him down ... but i wasn't sure if i could figure it out :S
But since redfrog is helping me with the coding ...
but to be honest ... im just trying not to bite off more than i can chew
