Run Event December 27th!   Online Goodness There are 0 users and 2 guests online     Red Faction : [RED] Editing : new laptop and RF SP [Forum Rules]   Back to Forum Thread List Bigblack40   Posted 9th Jun 2008 11:19pm L4Y Member Post 877 / 1150 Hey all i just recently Installed Redfaction on my new laptop (2gb Ram...3.0ghz......Windows Vista Basic) and iam having to launch it with Purefaction (due to vista making the graphics go all weird) and my mate went to play the SP of RF when it froze after Movie Intro....It plays the first sound file "miner Return to baracks" or what ever it is and the screen just goes black.....or if you skip the intro movie and freezes on the image you tryed to skip, Is there a fix for this??? How do you know the graphics are weird if all you can see is a blank screen? secondly I don't think Vista does that because many other people play RF with Vista with no problems. It has something to do with the video card. Whats the video card of your laptop? Is the driver up to date?
