If need be I'll refuse the right of the Lego MP mod team to release the mod here on l4y and on any other sites such as RFV.
You fail to see that this mod has originally done by me, and the whole mod is basing on my content, and you refuse to give me any further credit. I've had several discussions, even other people with no relation to lego were complaining about it.
Take this as a warning, initially I did not plan to write this before the release. I cannot tolerate this any longer.
I know you are trying to strike back with this childish behavior - just because I do not support your mod, but I have said it right from the start, that I will not support it in any form, and will not be integrated into this project at all.
Actually it's the 2nd time you wanted to make this mod, the last time was about 1 year ago and you have just given up - pretty obvious why I wouldn't want to support a dying thing again.. I don't have time for it anyway.

I said I would credit you for the LEGO mod, which I have. Yes, I credited you for the mod that you made; namely LEGO Single Player.
I had intended to make it an addon, but the tables were completely messed up, and I had to redo them all, so I made it as a seperate mod so people would not have to edit their copies of the single player to play multiplayer.
The content by you in the mod right now:
2 sounds (which i've heard somewhere before, so you didn't make them), about 4 textures, and some player and weapon models and their skins.
If you would like the line changed to "RED-FROG: 2 sounds, about 4 textures, and some player and weapon models and their skins." instead, let me know. |

Yea well it was a mistake by me. At first I was reading "Would you mind making a multiplayer addon for LEGO?"
I thought he wanted me to make one, since when he told me to do it the voices on L4Y wanted a MP for lego again. There was some discussion in the forums.
the "RED-FROG: o" was actually not the answer to the credits, it was the reaction when I re-read it. I was kinda busy at that time.

From a Noobish point of view from lolpuplolpup's post, that actually makes sense to me.
In all aspects, he has stated everything correctly.
Ive known goober for some time now. The work he has put into LEGO MP has amazed me and im pretty happy with it.
Im sure goober would of given you more credit redfrog, but judging by your bad temper in all this, I do no blame him for not giving you more credit.
There is no "Please" words mentioned. This just all seems to be a strike against the mod because its fun, its cool and your just jelous of the outcome.
At the end of the day, we are all human's, we have feelings, and im sure in every right mind, goober doesnt like to be talked to in mannors as such as you have displayed red frog. |

The credits are not in any particular order, just so happens that was the order in which I listed them. It really doesn't matter.
I'm aware of the fact that he made the concept for single player, as is credited. I have given him credit for what he has contributed to the mod, however, he has not worked on or tested the multiplayer mod at any time, and therefore shall not be given credit for doing so.
Those are the LEGO Multiplayer credits, and since he didn't work on LEGO_MP at all, I really didn't need to give him credit. I thought I was doing the right thing and thanking him for his content, his reaction to or opinion on this is not my problem.

This topic is tricky, I don't take the part most for one than the orther in anyway... But I understand REDFROG, and I think if the event was inversed, Goober you will react similar to this. Ok, REDFROG is not related to any multiplayer work and testing, you can underline this if you want and laud your change a lot... But, even if you change many things in the mod, is still the source with some core content and I agree that you not giving him the credit he deserve. The way you wrote your credit with all jOb task, Is name need to be shown in more category including; Characters & Weapons model, animation and texture, HUD and any other part he contributed.
Don't forget, Lego mod without Lego Character is a big miss in this mod!

I think its somewhat foolish to argue about copyright laws when LEGO is a trademark used without consent. Especially seeing as how THQ owns the rights to just about everything in the mod anyways. |
