well, I am not sure if anyone missed me and my insance ramblings but I thought to bring one relevant discovery I made.
As many propably knew I was playing WoW quite actively, however there has come "slight" change to that, as I did get bored extreme for second time with that game. And some aspects of that game are really starting to annoy me. ie continuos repeat of instances ... (like those zilions of D2:LoD baalruns were not enough?)
I did realize that most of game is actually about grinding and solo driven etc., which is more than boring when it goes to "grind, rinse and repeat" and something more, I did come across the fact that my Favorite class Paladin was being regarded as "not so important" and it has some drawbacks in certain areas... (bad in PVP except as healer/retri, no tactical or strategic usefulness for PVP BGs etc.)
Anyhow, I am not sure what I do in future now, but I might do some RF stuff, and definetly I am anticipating RF:Guerilla too, but will it run on linux (even with wine) we will see it when it comes.
Almost certain is that I might start my open source producer career (doing various things in scene) |

I doubt it will natively run on anything other than Windows XP/Vista. Making it compatible for Mac is more of a priority than Linux. If you do manage to get it working on Linux I doubt the performance would be good, as some of the CPU cycles would be dedicated to emulating Windows. |

I somewhat have the feeling that WoW players are completely different people in the internet and different gamers overall. 
I have several real friends that share the addictive feelings about WoW but they keep playing it. |

nor is port .....j/k but I don't think he ment windows is an emu he ment linux would have to emulate windows in order to run the program properly. |
