Another video on YouTube:

Nick has made a video showing us some movement tricks that will be in LEGO_MP

It's Quake-Inspired, as you can tell.

Woah... nice. The pace of the mod looks a bit insane but it should be interesting to say the least.
Me, I hail from Thunder Bay, Ontario. I'm under-played in stereos.

It is quite fast yes, that's why I noted that it was Quake-inspired.

Though, it doesn't take long to get used to the fast movement. You'll find yourself back in RF saying "Why the hell am I so tall and slow? ". I know I did

They just seem like they are faster because they are alot smaller

Why? This thread or a CDC section not good enough? I mean aren't you guys hosting oodles of forums and sitting on piles of half projects? I am concerned.
I have suffered in real life for the past couple years, now its your turn!

It's not that, it's just that I planned on having a community for this, turning it into it's own little seperate game if you will.

Oh, and to be honest, I can't stand the way the CDC works on this site... I mean with it's limited space and all...

You should be able to communicate on cdc's, like moddb

Sure ghostkid, but I'd still prefer a seperate site where I can have complete control over the mod's site, instead of having to follow rules and/or regulations on L4Y

Thanks for the support SEB93

Yes actually. We're just waiting on one person to finish an... important element for the mod, then it's done. We so far have 14 DM and 2 CTF maps. This count will likely change to something like 17 DM and 4 CTF by release, with maps being released often after release.

Porting maps from Quake? What, too lazy to come up with your own ideas?

Quake maps have made for amazing ports to games with slow movement. LEGO is more like Quake than any other RF mod, so Quake maps work amazingly well.
