please list top 5? I'd like to know. No argument on why its great or quoting someone else and saying that the map the other user posted is crap.
I just want to know.
Doesn't matter if its custom, or a regular one. CTF, DM, doesn't matter. Althought I would most definetly prefer DM maps 
it's a little hard, I know of 2 I love to play! the others I want to try out.
The best that you think in Graphics, GamePlay - how big and hard is it to go around it. Well, you guys are going to say anything you want anyways, but please, just list 5 maps that you love to play.
I can think of 2 that I love to play, as of right now:
Gotic and Nights Of The Pirates
there are others that I like, but these 2 are on their own level.

Easy for me...Microfaction 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. All classics and probably the most popular maps ever made for RF. I never tire of playing them. I do have to say that I have a preference for sniper maps, so these came easy to me.
I keep hoping that w.r.e.c.k.s will put together one last map before RF goes to the old game heaven in the sky.  |

DM - Island Jam -Superb gameplay and feeling.
CTF - 2 Kingdoms - Yes its my map, but whenever I have played it its great fun.
DM - RFU Horyuji Temple - Top notch and amazing for a first map.
DM - Tide Runners - Love the look and feel of this map.
DM - KOZ Cubes - Best rail map ever made by far.  |

jr-monopoly 
microfaction 1,2,3,4,5 (still love them but tired of playing them)
most ncf maps (similar game play)

It is no secret that I have a discerning taste in maps after all these years. Maps that are composed of a handful of brushes with poor texturing and insipid lighting - I don't have the tolerance to even spawn in them.
Thankfully there are some wonderful creations; for example Mostertman's DM DAC Dust. Another example of excellent craftsmanship would be Kerpal's DM Marauder. In regards to "Old School" there is always Daedalus' DM deck16. |

Best RF map I've seen.

5 years old but state of art
my favorite to play is Woc2 and the copy of deck16
But to be honest, there are around 200 custom maps I have been enjoying to play.
It's impossible to think of every map and compare it, but deck , woc, stellar and Zelda just popped into my head

Wow... Thank you. I am very flattered.
Here's my top 5 list:
1. DM-Deck 16
2. DM-Microfaction
3. DM-Corpses Crossroads
4. DM-MF All around the world
5. DM-DAC Dust
I guess it was kinda hard to really decide on the best map. because there are alot of really good maps out there. but when it all comes down to it a good map should contain all aspects. that includes gameplay, texturing, layout, weapon placement, brushwork, etc. and I think that these 5 maps have done a really good job at. |

wow you guys got the right idea, keep this up!
I agree about the micro maps, they are great, but they get very tiresome, with people respawn killing etc., but hey
btw, this doesn't matter if the map is old or new, whatever; but it needs to be very special to YOU
I agree about Sorrow's maps, I can throw Espear and w.r.e.c.k.s. in there along with Wizard, but I'm looking not for mappers - but for maps themselves  |

That's true but in all fairness, it does have SHUX mae as onr of the authors.
Mt favorite level that isn't made by me that hasn't been mentioned would have to be and this isn't a [FM]ClanFrank desicion either.
