In france we have been having a new device for about 2 years now. It's called Earth numeric television. They claim it's a new way to broadcast TV by waves but the signal is coded and the code is rather complexe so we had to buy an electronic device that is pluged on TV and decode the new signal. We kept the same kind of antena. With the new device a big deal of new chanels appeared. We had 6 free analogic chanels before. Now nearly anyone on the territory can receive 18 free numeric chanel (+ a few paying ones) It works great actually spoilsport     Beatonator    Posted 1st Feb 2008 8:29pm Post 2308 / 3716 Im assuming thats the US and French version of UKs digital. We got 4/5 Free channels through standard TVs, with a DigiBox you can get aprox 40 Channels (Free). Most new TVs now, come with Digital built in. My 32" HD TV did. Trying to find old players.
