One was given away at Joel's Brooklyn event, one was given away at the Denver event and the third has been placed on eBay with all the proceeds going to Child's Play.

I think creating something like that cube will cost you about $60 in dollars for materials. so selling 3 for 1200$ is a pretty deal if your on the selling side
I 'think it doesn't look to great either tho, so the deal is in fact even better!
