Is there any event that i'm not finding that can be triggered to play a pre rendered bink video in sp maps? It would be cool to have different pre rendered videos play throughout a sp mission, not just for the intro.
You can replace the original videos i.e the intro vid and final vid but you can't have audio

Actually u can have the audio. I changed the startup vid (thq and volition logo) to a random vid on my comp just to test, and got audio working. Thats what made me wonder if theres an event to trigger a vid, so I could use pre rendered vids throughout a sp mission instead of just a custom pre rendered intro vid.

Hmm, should I keep the solution all to myself or tell ppl they need to pm me to get the answer, like some ppl on this site do, I guess so they can feel special or something... (not mentioning any names ).

I was browsing faq on bink and smacker site and one of the questions was "how do I use the old audio format" or something like that, and they said just add 100 to the compress level in the bink audio options (so if u want 4 you would put 104 instead) so i tried it and it worked!
Anyway back to original question , is there anyway to trigger pre rendered vids to play in game or am I stuck just changing the ones that automatically play?
