I'm asking if it was possible to fix the problem with RF not being able to take screenshots on above the supported resolution of 1280x1024.
RF (Purefaction) always crashes when I try to take a screenshot at 1680x1050 which is the native resolution of my monitor and since I've got this new monitor I'm regulary playing at this one now. (the HUD is also somewhat messed up but I don't care as long as the crosshair works )
Maybe a possible fix in Pure Faction? (or PF causes it? I can't test it)

Xfire doesn't save at the higher resolutions ... well at least it didn't used to, might now.

Damn my fraps only saves bmp screenshots demo
Already used it, but keep forgetting about it, and screens through RF are more handy.
Anyway, I was just asking. I don't know how stuff like that can be worked out.
RF actually DOES the screenshot.
But crashes afterwards.
Xfire screenshots doesn't work at all with Pure Faction since it's a different exe file, and it doesn't work with RF.exe either. (perhaps only by using one of digis xfire patches, but I'm too tired of patching xfire every time xfire updated.

We've asked XFire to include the patch in an update, but it took them about 4 months after I told them to apply the original RF update, it may be a while for the Pure one. So it looks like, unfourtunatly, our XFire patch is the only way to make XFire detect Pure at the moment.
To make FRAPS save jpgs, just tick the jpg box in the Screenshot tab of FRAPS. I've used 2 versions of it and I believe that option was always there, don't hold me to that though.
