You will have to forward the ports through not only your router but your HomePortal(Gateway/Modem). I had to do it when I was on DSL.

IP addresses of 10.1.1.X are internal addresses and can't be used to join Internet games. As Sobe said, you need to forward port in your modem as well as your router.
I have a DSL-G604T Generation 2...........The Modem and Router are the same thing on it...........so What other settings are needed cause i have set port forward to 7755, I have been trying to host servers for ages now
I can find the server on the Laptop when i add in the IP but when i got Adam to do the same at his place he couldn't find......and it didn't show on my list until i added the IP
i had a problem like this i forwarded the port 7755 etc and when i started the game it wouldnt show up on the tracker, people had to add the ip/port to join

Does'nt ipconfig do the job ? (without all those other things)
Yes and no. The way I do it it avoids a step after you hit the DOS window.
