I got a big problem. Red thinks my custom single player level was made with another
mod and now I can't get my map to run at all.

I loaded in a level in red in the normal standard mode BUT... That map was made with the
"red.exe -mod switch. " I didn't know that map I loaded in was done under the mod mode until I loaded it in and Red told me. it was created with a mod.

Then after loading in that map and Red telling me that it was made with a mod. I didn't want that level, so I reloaded in my ordinary custom map from the singles users folder I was working on and done some work on my level , and as soon as I made changes and ran my custom map.

Red began to tell me it cannot load my custom map because its was made with a mod.

Red should've cleared the flags properly before reloading in my other map and obviously it didn't reset the mod flag and instead it saved the mod flag from the previous map to my single custom level that I was working on and turned it into a mod map and now I can't run my level because it thinks it needs a mod to run it.

How can I deactivate the mod flag in my saved map so Red will again run my level as a normal user map and not run it as a mod?

Well you could export everything from the level to a group and import it in a new level....
-waR'.se- I don't know who you are, where you are from, or what you want... But if you threaten my freedom... I'll kill you.

Yes. Do this.
Keyframes will have to be recreated.

This is the only known way to get past this. You'll have to export your level as a group and then export each moving group alone.

EDIT:

do this:
make the whole place a group.now go to save that group. when you hit the button "save", a new list pops up, listing all the groups youve made throuought building the map, when you go to save, simply select ALL groups listed when you hit save, and type in a name. it will all save under one name!!

Oh now I'm mad. I've been struggling with this issue for the past 2 years and you just posted it.

Good job though

To stop red saving your maps under a mod, right click the RED shortcut and go to properties.

In the Target Field, you might have "C:\RedFaction\RED.exe -mod switch". Basically take out the "-mod switch" Hit Apply and OK then you shall never have this problem again.

If you are wanting to make mods through maps, its best to make a new shortcut to RED but rename it to the mod you be using and put the command line in the Target Field of the shortcut.
