I totally agree with the extortion remark. it is shockingly expensive. I brought a Premium Xbox when I got mine, so im lucky in that respect.

COD4 or Burnout....thats a tough one.
Trying to find old players. Anyone about? Drop me a PM or reply to this thread:

Burnout Revenge
Burnout Paradise *
Crackdown
Dead or Alive 4

What should i buy first: Burnout Paradise or COD4 ?

Get Bioshock

I allready have bioshock..

Garner i know it's a rip-off but its been released for 2 years now and still no price drop, anyway i bought a second hand one. for € 45, still much for only 20 gigs, but i could'nt afford another € 40 memory card wich only has 512 MB

The 120Gb one is newer than that... the 20Gb was the one from 2 years ago.

Prices are currently (here in the UK)

£60 ish for 20Gb
£120 ish for 120Gb

I dont get why MS does it... surely they want people to buy the games that are on the marketplace? The films? Play the demos so they can buy more games from the stores? (remember that MS makes money from every game sold)

You'd have thought they'd have a much more sensible pricing stucture to get more people buying the hardrives so they can experience more of the other stuff they can pay for. I'd love to download some HD movies from their service. The price is a little more than I'd like to pay but for convenience and download straight to my entertainment system I'd be willing to buy some films, I'm often looking for a new game to play but cant be bothered to go into town to buy one (hence why I love steam so much)... but cannot because there's no way in hell I'm buying the drive that lets me do it.

Yup, movies on there, choice of either standard or high def for most as well.

Not a fantastic choice but there's enough on there that you could find something to download if you found yourself bored one evening.

Yeah the hard drive is a massive rip off, But thats what it costs, bite the bullet and get one. The demos are pretty good. I mean without downloading the demo of turok I might of brought it!!

I haven't tried a HD movie yet. Seems like a good idea though.

They should either lessen the costs of things like themes and gamerpics or make xbox live free, i mean think about the amount of revenue they must get from all the CENSORED ty arcade games.

Garner,I'll give you a friends request when I'm back on xbox live. I wont be offended if you dont accept

Probably not subtitles Ghostkid - I believe the films are licensed per region. Looks simply like either MS are doing it for their percieved "bigger" markets only to save on licensing or whoever they're licensing the movies from has specified specific countries/regions only.

Give it time, they'll probably roll it out your way... just checked the news archives on google and found that they only launched the UK service on December 11th last year - 2 months ago.

Gonna have to add you Outlaw.

See we should totally get a 360 Clan going...

COD4, Halo 3, Gears of War... etc...

Garner, I agree its out priced but you really have no option at this moment in time, if they enabled External HDDs properly it would be awesome, but I highly doubt it. People could easily download Hacked Games and Gamerprofiles (not really sure). Its mainly MS being stingy, but shooting themselves in the foot at the same time.

The movies arent bad, downside being you have 48hrs to watch them, or 24hrs after the first time you "start" the film.

No way! I figured the prices they're charging its for a download and keep job... not a stingy time frame. Sheesh, in that case definitely screw the hard drive... I'll stick with buying the DVD's!
