As I stated here I was looking at keeping the recently removed sites. Despite removing these sections from the site on Sunday, they're going to be coming back within 24 hours.
This is for DF2, DF:LW, DF:BHD and Halo
These 4 sections were closed down, had their files transfered to the new server and will be reactivated again once DNS issues have been resolved.
However there are a few limitations... these sites will be uneditable. Meaning we cannot add any new files to them... limitation of the current codebase (already resolved on the new version of the site  ) |

Files were never removed, just the sections closed down.
Unified doesn't support the idea of multiple 'master' servers. It HAS to have all files on one server... which can then be mirrored to other servers.
The master server is out of space tho, hence the idea to close these 4 sections to free up some space needed for the other more popular sections to grow.
This means we cant update these sections because they're not on the master server, Unified will not be able to do anything with these 4 sections.
The next version of the site supports a seperate 'master' server per game section so this problem is already solved.
In a nutshell...
Halo and the 3 DF sites will be returning tomorrow. |

Ahhh cool. I don't think you said that before when you announced you were getting rid of them. I think we all thought they were kaputz. |
