Great Demo!!! Very well created, very good gameplay. The ONLY problem is, the high system requirements. I turned everything to Low settings, (the graphics were still awesome, even on LOW) and it still lagged real bad. I guess this isn't a game for me until I upgrade...

Eh, I had everything at medium on 1024x768 with a few settings on High and it played without lagging fine. I loved the cinematics, especially all the effects.

Perhaps it's just me but I was disappointed. After all the chatter, I was expecting to have my socks knocked off.....and it just looked like Far Cry to me.

I love this game, I'll go out and grab it when I can
Much better graphics than UT3, and also runs at least 3 times better than UT3. The engine of UT3 is a huge dissapointment, they can no longer call it the best engine on the marked, the Cryengine beats it by far. (the old one for Far Cry already did... the editor "Sandbox" and the possibilities were just STUNNING)

The intro video is such an awesome work of art, followed by the flight from the plane.
The game gives you a lot of different ways to solve situations.
Does anybody know if that super suit does increase it's power in the games progress? Because I think throwing enemies/objects, and jumping wasn't that excersive as I expected.

It was such a shocking moment when they found out what just happened to their teammate, it benefits of the good graphc.

Seems to be a good game to me. - I expected the demo would be very short but it ran for much longer than I thought it would.

Hmm. well if any of you have tried the MP beta you should know that it plays sorta like battlefield 2 / 2142. except without medics to revive fallen team members... And that your character is on steroids. you can get in civilian vehicles; if you capture a war factory you can produce tanks, and other vehicles at cost of prestige, you can do this at your main base too. Prestiege is points you get for capturing sites, killing enemies, or completing objectives. You buy weapons, ammo, and equipment with it. the MP beta is really buggy with vehicle physics. but the netcode is done pretty well.

I have had many instances where I had a tank and turned the turret and then the nozzle will clip into a small wall or something and the tank will go flying into the sky.

Per comparison to UT3 it looks better definatley but doesnt run too good. I had to turn lighting, and post processing off and run it at 1024*768.

UT3 demo i can max it out @ 1440*900 and max graphical settings. and it runs perfect? So I don't know what red-frog's problem is. mabye its drivers?

UT3 doesn't even have settings. (what UT3 has got... is not what I'm calling settings.)

The only setting that is useful for boosting fps is HIDE WEAPONS. LMAO
Crysis runs like a rabbit on my machine.
UT3 runs like a slide show.
