I have also managed to exactly replicate the 8*** issue on my system. I've made a possible fix but have no way to test it at the moment (8800 users PM me). Id rather play the game all cel shaded like than have polys meshed everywhere. He hasnt been able to play good for months. It worked! He's incredibly happy... Once again, i can in fact confirm that this does fix the bug with a 8600 card. The fix will be released with the first version of Pure Faction as soon as i get it ready (hopefully not much longer).
