I have started C and find its not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Well it hasnt been too hard yet. Any of you guys do programming? Once you understand the structure all you need to do is look up the function names (assuming your IDE doesn't help you with that) Reminds me. Need to install VS C++ 2005 on this laptop. They are still a bit confusing. if you want some easy tuts then you can go to http://www.cprogramming.com/ I know C++ to the extent of making some basic number manipulation stuff for UT2004. But thats about it. I know a decent amount I suppose, but still a beginner. Only time I get to use C++ is in my coding at home, which I've honestly not done a whole lot of recently. Much like coming on L4y! Do shout if you need a hand or anything, I've pretty much tried my hand at everything programming wise. Except template meta programming, which is like taking coding lessons from Escher And as for my opinion of pointers, they are the most essential part of programming good performing code. (I'll include references in here as they are more or less pointers that the compiler dereferences automatically for you). The biggest part of programming though, is knowing how to apply the language to the problem, the language itself is just the tool. I have a wiki where I keep little coding snippets and links to some good resources, feel free to have a nose.
