Don't get us wrong though, RedFrog did make a good effort on making life a little easier on us with it. We cannot judge weather it is RedFrogs RED Optimized thats causing the problem. I wouldn't think he would change the way it saves or anything. I wounder though, Could it be possible to change the folder where RED saves the backups and without the Tilde ~, it might make it easier to know where your backups are kept in a seperate folder to where the orginals are saved. But I think the crash during the save was caused by a corrupted map. One final thing. Does anyone know the limit when it comes to the number of movers in a map that Red can have? How many keyframes can we have? I know REDFROG made it and it makes some things convenient but that still doesn't change the fact its been modified by a 3rd party and without the proper soruce code to do a proper recompile of the program all sorts of things could be wrong with it. Thats like your friend adding nitro to his car and then you run around telling everyone that you garuntee 100% (by the sounds of it) it's not any less stable than the unmodified vehicle... Thats just stupid. Well, if any of you have any decent problem solving skills. I did not redesign anything on saving or backup behaviour of RED. Only layout changes. It can't be working worse than RED. Why not try original RED and tell us what happens with that one.
