Due to miscommunication and the administrators living in different timezones, as well as having busy lives, this has dragged on for far too long.
We, the administration of L4Y, have made a giant misstep this past week. Over the past few days we've all carefully read what has been going on in the whole 'Hell Hunter situation'.
Based on our previous experiences with RHFweb's forums and trusting on our staff members to be true, we TUed two of our members, molodiets and mad_ferrit.
Unfortunately in hindsight this appears to have been a very wrong decision, we've found that Hell Hunter's part in this was quite substantial, in contrary to what we thought.
We thought Hell Hunter was yet another vicitim of the popular Staff bashing, members of RHFweb's forum enjoy 
Right now it appears that most of this was caused by Hell Hunter's own unkind words in those forums.
As the administrators of this site, we try to keep things running as smoothly as we can and try to make the right decisions. This time however we've made the wrong decision.
mad_ferrit, molodiets, consider this an apology from us, we know we've upset you a great deal and quite possibly have taken alot of fun out of this website for you, we are sorry for that.

Not only, i think.
Excuse me,RHF website helped me much in this case. It was my only way to express myself since my posts on l4y were either deletted or closed (and sent back to the oubliettes)
RHF's forum might be considered as a kind of trade union or a suggestion box to give a feed back. It's therefore normal to find mainly users complaining there.
If every link to this site is deletted, it could soon be forgotten by all users.

I'm not sure that corresponds to RHF's site.
Today, i realize that any link to this site has been deletted from any signature.
It's a bit harsh, don't you think?
If tomorow, a staffmember decide to abuse of his power, i suppose i should IMS admins and wait for them to react. And if they react as they usually do, the SM is going to be right?
I wonder if i wouldn't prefer to be TU'ed with an uncensored signature?  |

This rule is why links to other sites have been removed. You can't deny there's some serious bashing of members and staff at RHF's site.
As long as there are threads about Most Hated Staff of L4Y on his site, or anything similar, the links will be removed. People come to this site to download files and talk about gaming. They don't need to follow a link to a forum post bashing the people that run this site.
Any arguments concerning this should be taken to the admins and not talked about here or the thread will be closed. |

I think people now have a bit more faith in the admin here and hopefully now we can all get on with what we do

Its called censorship. Were just victoms here to continuous pain and suffering. Sounds like real life to me though Nothin outta the ordinary here...

Holy crap man, how harsh can you get? At least explain to us all why he is troublesome, so you dont seem like such a bad guy. Honestly I would bypass the filter if I was TUed w/o a cause.

I will ask RHF to "hide" and isolate the reprehensible threads in a resticted access new subforum.
If he agrees, i hope we will be able to agree with the staff here to link to the "staff friendly part of the l4y related" forum. |
