This is a fog map, with Far Clip plane set to 150. The map is 120. Near clip plane set to 0.
I've got the following two issues showing up only during the cutscene.

a) As soon as the camera flyby begins, choppy Jagged edges suddenly appear
when the camera moves over the map. The Cutscene is inside the level.

b) Water down in the pond turns into the skybox instead of showing water during
the flyby..

After the cutscene is finished and the game starts, the water returns back to it's
normal state and the map stops scrolling choppy and is all smooth again.

Baffled.

Play around with the fog settings a little. This is usually caused because you set the Far Clip too High or the Near Clip too high.

With the pond you made, did you make the brush a portal? If you did, then do not use a portal unless you have made air brushes under the pond.

I had a face portal under the pond to keep the water in. It won't show up in cutscene, but shows up normally in game. In cutscene it shows the skybox.

But when I deleted the face portal and replaced it with air brush portal, I got a strange result. Skybox showed up in the cutscene but this time in the game, the skybox was showing in the pond and when you jump into the pond, you get cut off from your map
and there's just the pond and the skybox, you can't see the map anymore, but then when you try to get back out of the pond, then the map and all its features around the pond suddenly reappears again.

So i gone back to my face portal now the pond is back to normal but still haven't solved this issue... So something is amiss.

Cutscenes are very strange in RF, for some reason they seem to put in their own far clip plane, i dont know why. To the best of my knowlage, this hasnt been overcome.

Ah, so portals won't work in cutscenes. Another Red Limitation Violition not told us about in their help file.

I mean I realize now that I can't place a cutscene in front of a portal.
The cutscenes have to be placed where there are no portals in the way.

I've never had any problems with portals and cutscenes so my guess is you've done something wrong.

Yeah but this is a pond with a face portal in it, it is not an air portal in it, I already tried the air portal brush, water just leaks out because the pond is a detail brush, so I had to use a face portal detail brush to stop it leaking to make the portal work. The portal works but the water just dissapears in the cutscene.

The pond is a detail brush? Why would you make a air brush a detail brush?

I just I flagged the cylinder brush (the pond) as detail and went into vertex mode and
started shaping the pond that way and done the pond in 5 minutes instead of spending
half an hour trying to play guessing games with Red on just where to stretch each vertexes to try to avoid getting holes in the brush if I done it the other way with the brush not flagged
as detail it takes longer..

Air brushes should never be details, there's just no sense to it. Don't bother worrying about holes unless they're clearly visible. They won't affect your level otherwise.

If I can't flag the pond as a detail brush to escape the holes when shaping
vertexes around then do i have to fuse the pond to the ground, really is
that necessary?

I saved a copy of my map before doing the following.

Well I carved it, holes appear. So I can't carve it

then I fused it.

Makes no difference. Skybox shows still in cutscene.

Try making a separate airbrush just for your pond area. Place a solid brush at ground level and slightly taller and wider than your pond. Carve your pond out of the solid brush rather than an air brush.

Hold on, why do you want to flag the air brush as a detail in the first place? Air detail brushes wont make a difference in regards to holes
