im looking for all new weapon models for all my weapons..im sick of the defaults..
i already have red frogs rocket, sniper and flamethrower can anyone suggest the rest? |

o im trying to find say a grenade model, the default grenade looks really stupid..
come to think of it i might make all new models for me by me...
if i do ill make sure to post them here in case anyone wants them..
i might make all new player models too im not sure
any tips? |

u cant d/l it for free... legally.. i've seen some ppl say its about $3000 to buy but i saw in one of the adds at the top of this site that it was like $179... so i dont know how much it is but i do know its most definately not free to d/l |

Exostatic is working on some stand alone weapons, which are betas for his mod Street Wars...
I made a bunch of weapons for Iron Sun, but it looks like Iron Sun is dead (for the moment) as the leader rtd Mike (AKA Mighty Mike on levels4you) has joined the army and wont have much time for working on the mod... anyway, IM gonna release the weapon updates I made for it.

2 things to say.
SKA, the models look amazing man, im excited to see those in action.
Goober, 3ds max is no easy task, only a few people have gotten weapons into RF. myself included, and it took a loooonngggggg time to learn CRAPPY skills onto how to do it all. but if you wanna take the time, be my guest  we need more mods to keep rf somewhat alive. but the free 3ds max doesnt allow the rf-plug-in. soo you'd need to get the 3000 dollar one. by 'buying' it somewhere  |

you can get if off that site for around 700 dollars (still a crapload of money)
i siguest downloading a trial version of 3ds max 4 and then sending in money for the full version of max 4 download the trail version some where on a per 2 per (Kazaa)and then pay for the full 4.0 version.
idk if im alode to tell you were to get that demo of max 4 but we will see if they edit it out if so oh well.

well i mean making weapons decent enough to be in a mod i've tried making at least 30 weapons and only about 10 worked good enough, id always screw up some tiny vertex or something and make it all go wrong haha |

Gotta love the weapon skins....
I use the KA Weapons by Kaos & Anarki. The Pistol and Sniper Rifle are part of the actual KA HUD but you can extract the necessary files if you want them. There's also seperate files for the AR, Rail and the Shotgun.
Also, I'm using Red Frog's P90, Flamethrower mod and UT Rocket Launcher.
I haven't found a good skin for the Precision Rifle yet though... still looking for one, and I don't care about HMG. |
