Project Torlan's HaloUT is in serious need of a good project leader with free time to contribute to it. Project Torlan's HaloUT will be shut down unless we can find a leader to lead the project.

Please, if you can help, contact CaptainValor at: captainvalor(@)gmail.com [minus the (and)] or me and I can let CpatainValor know.

What are you looking for in a leader, a project manager who assigns different tasks, or someone who is the primary coder?
I am interested in developing maps, and anyone, including begginers who wish to travel this path with, feel free to contact me.

Well, we still need a leader, and in this case we need a general leader that keeps everyone on task and keeps track of who's doing what and stuff like that. We are also in need of weapon coders, modelers and animators. As Outlaw said, contact him or CaptainValor for more info...

Well we all have to start somewhere Perhaps you can help explain how you would convert a BSP extract from halo (as a .obj) into a .ase for use in UEd as a brush...I think it has something to do with flipping the normals or something (w/e that means), but I dunno how you do that...I know outlaw does, but he's busy right now; He's probably doing more projects atm than anyone else on our team...

Hey there. My name's Pravin (Pruh-veen) and I'm pretty interested in helping making Halo to Unreal possible. I've been mapping since Unreal1 back in the very beginning days of Unreal.. and total mapping years about 5. I can do all the basic stuff, and some advanced, and have pushed any Unreal editor to it's limit. I'd love to help you guys out, contact me if you're interested. I've got plenty of free time (hey, I'm 17 and unreal's my hobby ) and my slogan from Unreal1 to UT2004 has been New stuff 2 enhance Unreal forever.. (tho I am pretty new to Ut2004's ed, installed it a week ago, but basic principles hold for all the ed's and ima quick learner at this stuff )

PS: I know how to convert N64 geometry to ASE for import to UEd (Mario 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time are so fun on Unreal ) but am not sure about xbox.. I'm pretty sure the procedure is very similar (and yea, flipping faces is one of the steps )
