Two maps i've come across on this site won't show up in the map list and cause a runtime error when trying to open the map via the maps folder. vctf-startrekgallery and vctf-monopoly.
Anyone any idea whats causing this, an error on the designers part or is it my computer?
Also I sometimes get a blue screen error after closing ut2004 causing a reboot, any idea what this is?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I encountered the same thing - maps no-showing on the maplist. It was Derelict CIty.

ill check them ... i might remove them ... maps don't show on the maplist if they were deliberately set that way or if there are errors
Edit: Then again i could try fixing them and then reposting ... but that would produce compatability problems ...
Edit again: The star trek gallery one i think has been known to cause problems (but ill look that over next)... the Monopoly one is dependant upon other textures from other mappers which aren't included in the map (a big no no ) so the map won't work without the other map ... the textures needed to make this map work are called CBP2_Pasagrade_Tex.utx, CBP2_Pasagrade-SM.utx, BedroomsTex.utx ...
the first two are from the community bouns pack while the one is from a custom bedrooms map which has a name i can't remember .
These were listed in the readme, but they should be included with the RAR if used ... so i think im going to remove this file unless there are any objections within a day or so ... if you guys really REALLY want to ... ill try to find these missing texture packages ...
if a map doesn't show up in the maplist it is either marked inside the level properties not to show up, or it has an error inside the map (such as missing packages) ...
to see if its an error or not you can find out simply by double clicking the map in your map folder and opening it with ut2004.exe (by default it should do this by itself when you double click)
anywho ... if the map loads and plays, there are no errors ... if the map gives you an error, you will be able to see what is wrong with the map (it will say missing package, or error or something) ...
