Well this is a story I wrote up for a mod I was working on... Granted it will probably never be finished, I want everyones opinion on it...
| Quote | The year is 2067. In a secret laboratory just south of Colorado Springs, USA an elite team of US scientists, military officers and high profile government officials had just arrived. They had all come to see an example of the new Hydrogen Bomb that US government had been working on, in secret for the last few years to fight back against the recently re-formed Soviet Union. The new chemical they put together was Tritium hydroxide (T2OH). In all the anticipation, someone had forgotten to turn off the propane gas tank and as they were celebrating that they had reached their goal, their new explosive detonated, whipping out the entire area.
In early May 2136, a farmer who had just bought a piece of land south of Colorado Springs discovered a strange piece of what he thought to be scrapping metal under his corn field. Not knowing what this was doing there, he immediately called the police. Upon arriving at the corn farm, the police were astonished to have found remains of the old laboratory which had mysteriously vanished over 50 years ago.
The former corn farm quickly became a high profile crime scene. Even government officials came to see what had been uncovered. After a few weeks of searching, they found the remains of the full laboratory. Once the US government found out that their year old secret had been exposed, they had to destroy it. They planted a small explosive on the laboratory and fled quickly.
You are Kevin Black, age 34 and a well trained Secret Service officer who has been hired by several former US officials who left due to corruption to take a look at the destroyed farm to try to find out exactly what happened there…
Mission 1:
Get into the vicinity of the silo alive. Take air quality reading for analysis, file a report and escape before the remaining chemicals bond together and release a massive nuclear blast whipping out all of the US.

nice idea however maybe try some other country as the new super power after all it is set in the future and all games keep the us of a as the super power............................hey but it's fiction you could make Italy as the new super power in 2136 and the now neutral country of the former usa now known as the (think up a name) has had there past experiments from 2067 discovered and the new UEF United European Faction ruled from Italy have sent there team in to get the secrects while the former USA do not want the secrets to fall into any1's hands as they are now ill equiped to counter any form of attack. |

For me (and Goober too, most likely) the fun isn't in playing the mod, it's in creating it. I can't tell you how many mods I've started, knowing full well they'd never be finished, just for the fun of it.  |

I miss AQuest... I can only map, model, animate, tbl edit. etc so much. its so discouraging with no help. It can be finished though. I just need good, skilled, mappers.

I was there about 3 years ago. Imagine that! If I'd stayed there for about 70 years I'd have been blown to pieces!
Interesting storyline but you need to work in an attractive female lab technician who hides her good looks behind a lab coat and thick black rimmed safety glasses but who moonlights as an exotic dancer at night. |
