Hi all,
just wanted to let you know, that I just uploaded my ctf_DEFENDER.
It's not a mod, but it works as "attackers and defenders"-style map.
Just red team is able to make captures,
so blue is just defending!
The idea came along with the "command & conquer"-discussion here on L4Y.
I'm looking forward to your reviews...
and by the way: it looks great

Ah, im glad the Red Faction mod CnC gave a few people some idea's for map.
If you like Defending/Attacking maps, I have made a few (Sorry to brag).
Maybe a few of my maps I call "Assault" maps might give you a few more idea's for these type of maps
jan_the_mean, I was wondering what trick you used to have particle emitters working on lava... I've looked around, and your map is the only one that comes to mind where it is working..
generally the lva_lava03.vbm texture has a bug like glitch when particle emitters are concerned aswell... But I noticed your map looks fine.. With all your particles and lava..

Hmm, I don't know - I never had a problem with that...
I changed the lava ratio (made it appearing bigger like 64px:64px)
and I did not use the lava texture for the particle emitter,
but just one of these "flame"-textures...
Oh BTW, I opened your level in RED.. And I found the level didn't have any portals at all.. Which could explain alot of the reason I was only getting 15 frames per second in-game..
But not to worry, I'm probably the only one who runs a system this poor... lol 10 year old graphics card and 128 mb ram... But still.. It's fine for RF, I get up to 50 frame per second in some maps.

I had a little lower FPS on this map than on normal maps, but that didnt subtract from the awesome gameplay. Great job by the way jan!
For anyone reading this in 2019 or later: The RF community is alive on the Community Discord
