I just got the whole battlechest thing a few days ago, with both games, the expansion, the strategy guide, and I wanted to know who all playes it here on L4Y.
Also, does anyone have any links to a site that has a few decent class "Builds" aka good class setups for ultimate kickacidness?  |

Hey, I have that battlechest thing. It's probably the same thing you have right now lol. Well, anyways, as a personal perference I like to make chars with high dex to prevent getting hit and land more hits. |

I used to play Diablo II, Lord of Destruction, but after conquering it... meh. Oh wait! I haven't been to the Secret Cow Realm in Hell Mode yet! 
If anyone needs help in Hell Mode - lemme know - to the Battlenet - I will give you support.

+9 to all skills - back in the uni days I had a piece of armour that gave +15 to all skills. Only had to put one skill point into a skill and bam, level 16. Sadly a HDD failure killed that character off many moons ago... |

all my multiplayer characters were erased a long time ago due to my inactivity.
That game is so old so old.
I got it discounted more than 2 years ago. I didn't even know you could still find people playing it |

grab a copy of Titan Quest - its a very good Diablo-esque game. Very much Diablo 3 in all but name... heck even the sound effects are almost identical. |

How on earth did you get a +9 or for that matter +15 to all skills?! I don't think Diablo II provides that kind of bonus... dang, I thought I was doing all right...

Hapa - I don't know where it originally came from... a friend at uni had picked it up at some point when his char (or any of us playing for that matter) couldn't use it.
We backed up his character and transferred a copy to each of us in turn
We were playing locally on a LAN, game didn't seem to mind 4 copies of the same piece of armour....  |

Ah yes. The ol' copy the mule trick. A friend of mine, QUAQ, pronounced "quack", has many mules with just about every green set and unique gold item available. Does he share? Not really...

The character above in the screenie has been in single player games, LAN games, remote TCP/IP games and on the battlenet. I have done a fair amount of level running in hell mode while visiting games on the battlenet: east.
I will be honest tho, I play Diablo once a month, so I am really not an expert.
Are there separate servers for characters stored in the battlenet? |

Hmm, well I still haven't figured out how to work the friendslist, if it even has one, well I play U.S. East sometimes and my acc name is MasahiroMan.
Oh and I also recently purchased Halo. That also occupies a good percentage of my internet time. |

I'm an LOD player. I still play. Gah...hammerdins are a dime a dozen anymore. I'm tryin' a werewolf Druid just for the fun of it. Necros are the most difficult to play, especially since a summoner usually lags the games so bad everyone screams at them to leave or not to summon at all. Amon Uilos has the best all around necro.........tho he doesn't play much anymore.
